Here Today, Gone Tomorrow

How many times have you heard that phrase, "here today, gone tomorrow?"  It's usually connected to some kind of new movement, sales promotion (especially multilevel), great idea that will never last, or whatever the latest fad is.  Like New Coke, these things don't stick around. They're a great concept, may even be a good product, but they never last.

As a new church, many times that same phrase is often used.  Well it's here now, but they don't have their own facility, or whatever you want to put after the "they're here now phrase.  Jesus called himself the Alpha & Omega, beginning and the end.  As far as I can tell, we're still in the middle of that somewhere, which means that as long as we continue to serve the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob, we're not going anywhere either!!

Stick around and watch as God continues to change the conversation in our cities and uses us to do it!

  1. If we think about it, the mnistry life of Christ was not long term, accomplishing His purpose in a short period of time. As His followers, we are empowered to do the same - accomplish to God's glory, that task which He has set before us without thought to time. When we believe in Him, in His promises, in His empowerment then we need to get out there and do it! After all, the God of all creation completely surrounds us so who can come against us and succeed? No One & No thing!
We are The Bridge so lead people across it to Christ.
